Pony Tournament rules and General tournament information
All tournaments will follow Pony Tournament rules with a few exceptions.

Pony Tournament Rule Exceptions
These exceptions will supersede the Pony Tournaments rules:
Tournaments will follow this format:
- 2 pool games on Saturday for seating
- Single elimination bracket play on Sunday.
Seating for the single bracket play will be determined by pool play results.
For pool games home team will be determined by a coin flip. For single elimination bracket play the higher seated team will be the home team.
Pool Game standings will be determined in the following manner:
1. Win - Loss record
2. Head-to-Head record
3. Total runs given up in pool play
4. Total runs earned in pool play
5. Coin flip
All games will have time limits
6u/8u – 55 min pool games/ 1 hr single elimination
9u/10u – 1hr pool/ 1:15 single elimination
11u/ 12u – 1:15 pool/ 1:30 single elimination
13u/ 14u – 1:30 pool/ 1:45 single elimination
All run rules will be enforced
15 runs after 3 completed innings played
12 runs after 4 complete innings played
10 runs after 5 complete innings played
Teams may either bat the whole roster or
only play 9 and use substitutes. If a team elects to use subs they
must follow the all substitution rules.
Coaches must provide 2 game balls. This will be at the umpire’s
judgment if the ball is usable for game play.
Bats cannot exceed 2 5/8 diameter
Coach's can only protest rule interpretations. Judgement call are not protestable. If a coach wants to protest a rule interpretation it will cost the coach $100 cash. The Tournament Director will be called to make a ruling. If the Tournament Director agrees with the coach the coach gets to keep the money. If the Tournament Director does not agree with the coach, the Tournament Director keeps the $100.

Gate fee is $5 per person per day. Children under the age of 10 yrs old are free.
All games are pay at the plate for umpires

9u/10u - $45 per ump
11u/12u - $50 per ump
13u/14u - $60 per ump
Refunds
Refunds will only be given only in 2 circumstances: Rainout or bracket does not make
In case of rainout the following guide will be used to determine the amount of refund given.
0 pool games played, full refund
1 pool game played, 1/2 refund
2 pool games played, no refund
NO outside food or drink
NO pets
ZERO tolerance for Abusive Behavior
No unsportsmanlike like conduct
Tournament Director has final decision in all protest matters
No horns, banging on fence or dugouts, noise makers
Place your trash in the trash cans
If you are asked to leave the game you will not be allowed back for the remainder of the tournament without a refund.

South zone tournament location
Teams who play in 4 or more tournaments are eligible to play in the Pony South Zone tournament. To play in this tournament teams must qualify, unlike other pay to play world series or state championships. Below is where each division will hold its zone tournament.
