Pony Tournament rules and General tournament information
All tournaments will follow Pony Tournament rules with a few exceptions.

Pony Tournament Rule Exceptions
These exceptions will supersede the Pony Tournaments rules:
Tournaments will follow this format:
- 2 pool games on Saturday for seating
- Double elimination bracket play on Sunday.
Seating for bracket play will be determined by pool play results.
For pool games home team will be determined by a coin flip. For elimination bracket play the higher seated team will be the home team.
Pool Game standings will be determined in the following manner:
1. Win - Loss record
2. Head-to-Head record
3. Total runs given up in pool play
4. Total runs earned in pool play
5. Coin flip
All games will have time limits
60 min pool games/ 70 min single elimination
Pool games will finish the batter, bracket games will finish the inning if the home team is down by less than 5 runs.
All games will have a 5 run limit per half inning for pool games. No run limit for bracket play.
All run rules will be enforced
12 runs after 3 completed innings played
10 runs after 4 complete innings played
8 runs after 5 complete innings played
Coaches must provide 2 game balls. This will be at the umpire’s
judgment if the ball is usable for game play.
Teams may either bat the whole roster or
only play 9 and use substitutes. If a team elects to use subs they
must follow the all substitution rules.
Coach's can only protest rule interpretations. Judgement call are not protestable. If a coach wants to protest a rule interpretation it will cost the coach $100 cash. The Tournament Director will be called to make a ruling. If the Tournament Director agrees with the coach, the coach gets to keep the money. If the Tournament Director does not agree with the coach, the Tournament Director keeps the $100.

Gate fee is $7 per person per day. Children under the age of 10 yrs old are free.

Refunds
Refunds will only be given only in 2 circumstances: Rainout or bracket does not make
In case of rainout the following guide will be used to determine the amount of refund given.
0 pool games played, full refund
1 pool game played, 1/2 refund
2 pool games played, no refund
NO outside food or drink
NO pets
ZERO tolerance for Abusive Behavior
No unsportsmanlike like conduct
Tournament Director has final decision in all protest matters
No horns, banging on fence or dugouts, noise makers
Place your trash in the trash cans
If you are asked to leave the game you will not be allowed back for the remainder of the tournament without a refund.

Pony International World Series
Teams who play in at least 1 tournament qualify to play in the Pony International World Series which will be held in McAllen, TX. Dates will be in late July.
